Tuesday's Exam Instructions

 

Instructions for taking the exam:

1) Visit the links at the bottom of your score sheet.

2) You may take each test once.

3) Have an exam moderator confirm your score before you write it on your score sheet. The moderator will initial your score.

4) Turn score sheets in when you are finished.

5) You may write in exam code words on the sheet with extra credit.

Why do we wiki?

---

Wiki comes from the hawaiian word that means "open." As a Spanish teacher I want my course to be an open book. In that sense I want to keep Spanish open and keep Spanish real! It is my primary goal to make the classroom transparent. I want everyone to know what is going on in Spanish class at all times.

 

How students should use the Wiki

---

There are lessons, resources, and places for the discerning student to collaborate all over this wiki. If students are out sick, they can refer back to the lesson of their choice. I will continue have term lessons and resources archived here, as well. Everything here is designed to provide reinforcement and enrichment. 

 

 

 

How I use this Wiki

Teacher Communication

I have created this wiki to speak to parents, students and other educators. I want Spanish to be alive and to be talked about outside of my class. There is an old saying about a camel and water... I want students to learn through comfortable means. They are already texting, using the web, and writing emails: I want to use these tools to promote language learning in my class.

 

Dialogue Generation

This wiki should promote conversation on or about Spanish. Please use the reflect o'wiki and theSpanish Index blog to take your Spanish on the road: converse, have fun, and use it!

 

 

For the near future

I want students to create podcasts, blogs, powerpoint portfolios, or use some other means to archive their learning. We have taken the first steps by using Audacity to create language recordings.
